Broad beans

Recipe Ingredients

* 1 kg fresh broad beans
* 125 ml olive oil
* 1 bunch spring onions, finely chopped
* 1 spoon flour
* 2-3 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
* 1 spoon tomato paste
* 1 tspn sugar
* Salt
* Pepper
* dill, finely chopped

Cooking Procedures

Clean the broad beans and wash with plenty of water. Heat the oil in a saucepan and roast the onions. Add flour, tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, the beans, salt and pepper. Add little water and cook over low heat until tender and only the oil remains.

er. Salt to taste. 1 scant cup molasses. Scald the meal slowly with the water. Add other ingredients. Bake three or four hours, stirring occasionally to prevent lumping. K. Park. MOCK CREAM 2 tsp. cornstarch. 1 tsp. vanilla. 2 tblsp. sugar. Whites of 2 eggs. 1 pt. scalded milk. Mix the cornstarch and sugar. Cook in the hot milk ten minutes. Strain and cool.
