Mock Lasagna

Recipe Ingredients

10 oz broad lasagna noodles, broken bite size
1 lb ground chuck
1 lb sweet Italian sausage
1 onion chopped
4 tbsp crushed garlic
12 oz Mozzarella cheese shredded
12 oz Cottage cheese
1 can Hunt's tomato sauce for spaghetti
1 cup water
1 tsp basil
1/2 tsp freshly-ground black pepper
1 1/2 tbsp dried parsley flakes

Cooking Procedures

Cook noodles according to package directions until just tender; drain. Brown ground beef and sausage. Drain well.
Place in lightly greased crock pot. Add noodles and all remaining ingredients. Stir to mix thoroughly. Cover, cook on low 7 to 9 hours or high 3 to 5 hours.
