Quick Turkey Appetizers with Tortillas

Recipe Ingredients

6 flour tortillas (10 inches)
4 tsp olive oil
1 cup salsa
1 lb smoked turkey, sliced, cut into 1/4 inch Strips
1 md tomato, chopped
2 tbsp chopped cilantro
1 1/2 tbsp chopped black olives
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 cup grated Monterey jack cheese

Cooking Procedures

Place tortillas on two 12x14 inch baking sheets. Lightly brush both sides of tortillas with oil. Bake tortillas at 400�F for 3 minutes; remove from oven.
Spread salsa evenly over center of each tortilla, to within 1/2 inch of edge. Sprinkle turkey, tomato, cilantro, olives, red pepper, and cheese evenly over salsa on each tortilla. Bake tortillas for 10 12 minutes longer or until cheese melts.
To serve, slice tortillas in eighths.

This syrup is less acid than that made by the preceding recipe and is suitable for use on griddle cakes, etc. Precipitated chalk can be bought from any drug store. Ground limestone may be used instead. FRUIT JUICES RED GRAPE JUICE & Take equal quantities of muscat grapes and black grapes. Crush together in a pot and heat to about 140 degrees F. A dairy thermometer is suitable for testing the temperature. Allow to stand over night and on the next day press out the juice. Strain it.
